Bulgaria: Implementation of Intermodal terminal and development of ports are key priorities

Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology Kamen Kichev opened on Thursday, the first annual conference SMART LOGISTICS. During his address, Deputy Minister Kichev said that the main intermodal projects that should be implemented in Bulgaria are the development of Sofia Central Station, where it is possible to combine many types of transport and to carry out servicing of passengers and goods by minimal delay in their transport from one point to another. This is one of the largest projects to be implemented. Other key priorities are the development of the ports of Bourgas and Varna, and the project "Super Burgas. Currently in Bulgaria there are no major intermodal terminals. These are before us. All good ideas and suggestions from the forum can find a place in the programs and strategies of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, said Deputy Minister of Kicevo.
