The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, accompanied by the Minister of the Economy, Matej Lahovnik, this week, visited Revoz plant in Novo mesto and attended the launch of a new Renault Wind assembly line. Prime Minister Pahor said that “Revoz is a story of success, representing a pillar of the regional as well as national economic stability.”
In his press statement, Prime Minister Pahor stressed that “besides the Czech Republic, Slovenia is the only country in this part of Europe that has increased its car production." According to Prime Minister Pahor, business figures are impressive and “as a Prime Minister, I am not indifferent to such results.” There are as many as 30,000 persons depending on the company’s performance, not to mention the development aspects and social cohesion. Upon the conclusion of the visit, Prime Minister Pahor expressed his satisfaction over the company’s performance. He emphasised that the results speak in favour of the Government’s continued support to successful companies. Revoz CEO Aleš Bratož said that the financial input of the state amounting to EUR 14.3 million proved to be efficient.
