Michael Roberts - 19.03.2010

ThePrivatization Agency is offering for sale 100% of the socially owned capital, amounting to 81.29% of the total capital, 100% of the Government of Serbiacapital contribution, amounting to 14.82% of the total capital, and 100%of the capital owned by the Development Fund of the Republic ofSerbia, amounting to 3.89% of the total capital of Pancevo glass factory.

Twobasic product lines of “GCP” are flat glass and technical glass. TheCompany also provides processing services to the importers of float,Pitsburgh and cast glass. The Company has two subsidiaries called“Trispan”, (trade company) and “Specijalna stakla” (special glasses salescompany).

“GCP”represents a unique strategic opportunity for investing in glass industryin Serbia. By investing in “GCP”, the potential investor would be able tocreate a competitive advantage by using the excellent location of theCompany and the experienced and relatively inexpensive workforce. TheGeo-Economic location provides a possibility for active presence on thewhole domestic market, as well as the market of the whole South-EasternEurope.

Thebusiness units of „GCP“ are adaptable - there are technical and technologicalpreconditions for the installation of the capacities for the production ofhollow glass (bottles, jars etc.). In addition, there is a sufficientsurface of the land for the installation of the furnace for the productionof flat glass under the flot technology. The financial capacity of the strategicpartner, as well as its „know-how“, experience in development of newtechnologies and managing the production can be used for strengthening theposition of the Company on the regional market. The excellent strategicposition of “GCP”, close to the highways, railways and riverwaterways presents a possibility for a long-term positioning as a leaderin supplying the local markets.

The Agency is herebyinviting all parties interested in tender participation to submit a writtenrequest for the purchase of the Tender Documents for the Entity UndergoingPrivatization at the latest by April 16th 2010, until 16:30 hours (Belgradetime).
