The Average yield is down on 12M, 6M T-bills in Albania's central bank auction

Yields decreasedon 11.6 billion leke (83.2 million euros, USD113.1 million) of 12- and 6-monthtreasury bills auctioned by Read More">Albania’s central bank onMarch 16th.

7.06 billion leke (50.7 million euros, USD68.8 million) oftwelve-month T-bills maturing March 17, 2011 were sold; as well as 4.54 billion leke (32.5million euros, USD44.3 million) of six-month securities maturing September 16,2010, the Bank of Albania said in a statement.

The 12-month T-bills brought an average yield of 8.56%, down from 8.73% at thelast auction; and a maximum of 8.68%, down from 8.87%.

For six-month notes, the average yield was 7.39%, down from 7.46%; and the maximum7.42%, down from 7.51%, the statement said.
