Getting started

Cyprus tourism decreases 5.7% in 2009 compared to 2008

On the basis of the results of the Passenger Survey, revenue from tourism reached €33,9mn in February 2010 compared to €36,3 mn in the corresponding month of the previous year, recording a decrease of 6,4%.
For the period January – February 2010 revenue from tourism is estimated to €63,6 mn compared to €67,5 mn in the corresponding period of 2009, recording a decrease of 5,7%.
